Avinol PM is an herbal supplement infused with natural botanical extracts which are associated with relaxation and sleep enhancement. Additionally, it comes in the form of convenient and tasty quick-dissolve tablets that simply melt on your tongue, which is great for those who have trouble swallowing pills. It's quick-acting and non-habit forming. Avinol PM delivers these benefits thanks to its well-known and studied ingredients, such as 5-HTP, L-Theanine, soothing Chamomile, Hops, Valerian Root, Passionflower, and relaxing Lemon Balm.

How to Use Avinol PM

Adults: simply allow the Avinol PM tablet to dissolve under your tongue 30 minutes before bedtime or with an evening meal.

Avinol PM Ingredients and Supplement Facts

Avinol PM incorporates the following natural herbs, botanical extracts, and amino acids into its gentle, sleep-inducing formula:

  • Melatonin - melatonin is actually a naturally occurring substance made within the human body. The human brain (specifically, the pituitary gland) releases melatonin at night whenever your eyes perceive a lack of natural sunlight. However, sometimes the body just doesn't make enough. That's why some people with sleep problems experience a significant benefit from taking melatonin right before bed.
  • 5-HTP - this amino acid is naturally derived from several different plant species. In the human body, it is easily transported across the blood-brain barrier. Once absorbed by the brain, it gets converted into serotonin. This helps regulate serotonin levels in the brain which, in turn, can help regulate your sleep cycle as well. It also produces a calming, relaxing effect.
  • L-Theanine - This amino acid derivative helps you fall asleep naturally in two different ways. First, it inhibits excess amounts of GABA from interacting with certain brain receptors, thereby reducing feelings of anxiety at bedtime. L-Theanine also helps the brain relax into an "alpha wave" state, which promotes relaxation and calmness.
  • Chamomile - The calming effects of chamomile has been known for centuries. But scientific studies are starting to catch up with proof that supports this assumption. A study performed in 1996 showed that chamomile has natural plant compounds which closely mimic the calming effects of benzodiazepines. A follow-up study the very next year proved that chamomile does so without the dangerous side effects of benzodiazepine drugs.
  • Hops - Hundreds of years ago, field workers on hops farms were having problems staying awake on the job. After years of research and multiple scientific studies, we can now confirm what they knew all the way back then - that hops have natural relaxing benefits. Today, the German equivalent of the FDA has officially authorized hops extract for use with anxiety and insomnia.
  • Lemon Balm - Lemon balm Works in very similar ways to l-theanine. It contains Botanical compounds which also inhibit anxiety caused by GABA and helps promote the presence of alpha waves in the human brain for rest and relaxation.
  • Passion Flower - Based on the name alone, you wouldn't think that an extract called "passion flower" would be good for calming anxiety and helping people with sleep problems. But it is! Passion flower extract helps regulate over-stimulated GABA receptors. And, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center, I can work as well as the anti-anxiety drug Serax, but without any of the performance-inhibiting side effects.
  • Orange Peel - There are a great number of different bioflavonoids, enzymes, and natural plant compounds found in orange peels that have been used for years to combat many different health ailments. One such ailment, of course, is insomnia. In addition to its calming and anti-anxiety properties, orange peel extract has another bedtime benefit: it helps calm an upset stomach and protects against digestive problems, which can inhibit many people's ability to fall asleep at night.
